The beginning of the year is a great time to reflect on your business goals.
Here are 3 Marketing tips from our contractor network member Debra Finch, Marketing Expert and CEO of First Construction.
1. Use your voice
Marketing is your voice. Marketing tells your story, it’s who you say you are, what kind of company you are, what kind of service you offer. Use that voice!
2. Live up to your promise
If you market and say, “hey, we do next-day installations and we always return our phone calls within two hours and none of our roofs leak”, but those things aren’t true, then your marketing has zero value at all because eventually everyone’s going to know that those things aren’t true. It’s so important to live up to your promise.
3. Meet the demand that you generate
No matter what kind of marketing you do, you have to be prepared to handle the business that you’re bringing in. Your marketing efforts should match your staffing capabilities and your production capabilities so that you can keep giving great service to customers because you’re able to handle the load of business.
