MADSKY has expanded its roofing training program for contractors

MADSKY’s contractor network partners have now access to even more roofing and exterior training resources. In addition to its classic MADSKY University, the company has launched new educational video resources to empower and inspire contractors to provide the best customer service and be on top of the industry.

The educational videos and webinars cover such topics as property inspection, growing your roofing company, protecting your brand, communicating with homeowners, tips on working with MADSKY’s claim management system, and more.

Our goal is to continue bringing more opportunities and exclusive educational resources to our contractor partners. We are glad to connect MADSKY experts with our contractor network partners and share valuable knowledge”, said Hunter Powell, CEO.

Bill Todd, MADSKY Expert, speaking in one of the educational videos for contractors.

Bill Todd is one of the experts who create MADSKY’s roofing training resources. Bill has been in the roofing industry for over 15 years. He started his roofing career as a salesperson and grew to be the general manager of a roofing company. He later got his license and worked as a catastrophe adjuster for a top-three insurance carrier in the US. Bill Todd has been with MADSKY Managed Repair Program since its inception in 2014, helping develop the company and training contractors in the field and online.

I started my career in this industry in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina hit my hometown of New Orleans; I wanted to help it rebuild. I’ve always been a trainer; everywhere I’ve ever worked, at some point I’ve been tasked to take what I know and teach it to others. For the last 3-4 years I’ve spent many months out of a year meeting and training hundreds of MADSKY’s contractor partners in the field, on roofs, and online. It’s an incredible experience. We have such good people in our program. I’ve always found that the more I trained, the more I learned. When you’re teaching someone, you pick up tips and tricks from them as well,” said Bill Todd.

He added: “Building strong relationships with our contractor partners, getting to know them, being a small part of their life and their company, and being able to exchange knowledge is my biggest satisfaction by far.”
