I’ve been working with MADSKY for almost two years. Prior to MADSKY, I ran production for my dad’s roofing company back in San Antonio, Texas. I did that for three and a half years, and we were actually part of the MADSKY Managed Repair Program from 2016 to 2018.

Currently, I run the Warranty department at MADSKY. I started in various positions from production to escalations. I’ve been with the Warranty department for a year and a half, and I definitely love doing that. If there’s an issue reported by the homeowner, our focus is to service it as quickly as possible.

That’s what makes MADSKY a great program—there’s a blanket of security here with the warranties that come with it: the warranty from the insurance carrier, the warranty from MADSKY, and from the contractor.

Welcoming change

My girlfriend Lesley and I moved from San Antonio, Texas to Colorado two years ago. She works for the Air Force Academy. Our first year in Colorado was a little rocky; it was our first time out of Texas. We are extremely family oriented, so it was just tough. And the second year COVID hit. Hopefully, our third year here will be pretty nice, but it looks like COVID is ramping up again, so we’ll see.

I get stir crazy when nothing tends to challenge me mentally or physically. So, I think moving to Colorado was exactly what I needed. And then with MADSKY, everything is very dynamic. I love change more than anything, it’s what keeps me going.

I have an end goal for myself to be an established person in this industry and that’s what motivates me; there’s so much to learn.

I’m thankful for the opportunities that I’ve had and thankful for my family, thankful for my girlfriend, and I’m just thankful for my team in general. Managing warranties is a team effort, so I’m very thankful to everyone at MADSKY.
